21 Aug 2024 Wednesday. I went in for the first time to this Shoney's for the breakfast bar around 10:30 AM. I was expecting the tail end of 'breakfast' with nothing but leftovers but was pleantly surprised that not only was it fully stocked, it was being actively tended to and fresh scambled eggs were being replaced. Donna was my waitress and I asked for coffee & ice water and when I came back to my table, everything including creamers were waiting for me. It's 15 a person and I enjoyed everything you see here. They had pancakes, cinnamon apples & cinnamon sticks over on the third side of the bar I didn't eat. I had biscuits, gravy, scramled eggs, sausage, bacon. Everything was excellent and I ask for then paid a compliment to the manager. My mid week experience was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great food. I loved the fried boneless breakfast chops. The biscuits were perfect. These employees love their jobs, and it reflected in their service and quality of food. I mean, the photos don't do it justice, and I didn't want to photo guest's in the back. You can clearly see the freshness and cleanliness of each secfion of the bar. Only a hard, caring worker keep buffet bars clean and full. .

We had friends in from out of town and needed a large area for all the people we had. They gave us the banquet room which was perfect. Our server Valerie was absolutely fantastic. She handled everything beyond our expectations. The buffet was kept well stocked and the food was excellent. After our meal the manager on duty, I didn't get his name, came by to thank us for our business. It was a very professional and friendly gesture that many restaurants would not have done. Thank you to the entire crew on shift Friday 5/23/25 at 4 to 530 pm. Your efforts were noticed and appreciated. We will be back as small groups and large groups.

Decided to have breakfast here with my father before taking him to the airport and it was absolutely wonderful! I hadnt been to a Shoneys in at least 15 years, as I didnt know we had one here! Alisha our waitress was absolutely darling, and the restaurant was SO clean! All of the food was wonderful and fresh and the ladies working the food bar kept it very orderly and full On Tuesday they do breakfast all day and lunch items as well which is perfect for me as im not a huge breakfast person but the rest of my family is! Great experience all around and if im ever on that side of Knoxville again I will be back!

My 1st time at Shoney's and 1st time ever writing a review in my life -- felt like I had to this time !! I'm traveling & stopped in, not only was the food SUPER gooooood, Jaylen is a sweetheart !! She is the best -- can't wait to go back during my stay here in Knoxville, thank you Jaylen !!

I have to say, this is only the second Shoney's I've been to in the past 30 years. And, I have to mention Ben, the young man who takes care of the buffet. That's one of the hardest working young men I've seen in a while! That buffet is spotless, he takes pride in what he does, which is the Christian thing to do! Ex Athlete Ex MMA fighter, you want to get yourself in shape? Go talk to Ben over at Shoney's, he'll hook you up! The food was good, and plentiful! I guess we have to be grateful we're not in the Ukraine right now! Stop on in, and say a prayer, cuz as bad as things seem, they could always get worse! The bathrooms were spotless, and if you ever go into a facility and the bathrooms are dirty? Get out quick, don't eat there. Special props also to the manager! A solid solid Man!

Haven't eaten at Shoney's in years and they didn't disappoint. Really great breakfast meal. We passed on the food bar, but the food looked fresh and warm. Service was really excellent, Bianca our waitress was the best!!!! I'd recommend this place and would go back!!!
